Items of Interest.

First four ships that brought the original English emigrants to Canterbury NZ,December 16th 1850. They are the Randolph, Jane Seymour, Cressy and the Charlotte Jane. The harbour was named after Lord Lyttelton and is in fact the extinct caldera of an ancient volcano.
