Happy new year to you to Bruce. Sorry I am not very quick or reliable in replying to your e mails. It is good some one is showing such interest in our family. Once our generation has departed it will be so much easier  for the next generation to follow on. Interesting to see that Moses is on our family tree too.

This is my information .I was born Patricia Kathleen Whiteside at the Whakatane Hospital on 20. 11. 1936.

My father is George William Whiteside and my mother Marjorie Kathleen Whiteside  [ nee Mc Pike ]

We lived in Otakiri where my father share milked for his father George Samuel Whiteside.

When I was 5 years we moved to Papamoa Te puke onto our dairy farm

I attended Papamoa school and when I was 13 I continued my secondary schooling at Diocesan High school in Auckland where I was a boarder.1950 t0 1953.

In 1955 I enrolled at Greenlane hospital Auckland to do my general nursing and registered in 1958 following this I then continued at National Women’s hospital and qualified as a maternity nurse.

I returned back to Papamoa to see where my next move was which was meeting my husband Robert Samuel Atkinson who was a sheep and beef farmer at Pongakawa bush road and we still live there . we are now kiwi fruit orchardists.

We have 4 children
